Non-halogen cable NHXMH-J 5G4 – safety and reliability
This non-halogen installation cable NHXMH-J 5G4 is a solid solution for electrical installations where fire safety is a priority. The cable is designed for places where human life is at risk in the event of a fire – from industrial buildings, through hotels and airports, to hospitals, schools and shopping centers. Its construction minimizes the risk of releasing toxic gases during combustion, which is crucial for protecting health and life.
Construction and application
The NHXMH-J 5G4 cable is characterized by insulation made of cross-linked polymer 2XI1, providing high resistance to mechanical damage and weather conditions. Copper conductors are twisted in parallel, which optimizes the pitch and ensures electrical stability. The outer sheath made of flame-retardant polymer HM2 (according to DIN VDE 0207 part 24) further increases the level of safety. The cable is gray (RAL 7035), which makes it easier to identify in the installation.
It can be used both in dry and humid rooms, for surface, concealed and duct mounting, as well as in concrete (excluding direct embedding in single-fraction aggregate, vibrated concrete and rammed concrete). It will also be suitable for outdoor installations.
