Non-halogenated installation cable NHXMH-O 2x1.5
This grey, two-core NHXMH-O installation cable with a cross-section of 1.5 mm² is a reliable solution for electrical installations where fire safety is a priority. Made from halogen-free materials, it minimizes the emission of toxic gases in the event of a fire, which is crucial in places with a high density of people. This cable is used in public buildings, industrial facilities and anywhere where high fire safety standards are required.
The NHXMH-O/-J cable meets DIN VDE 0250 part 214 and is intended for installation in dry and damp rooms, both on the surface, under plaster and in concrete (with some limitations – details below). The possibility of use outdoors further increases its versatility.
Characteristics and application
This cable is particularly recommended for installation in places with increased fire risk – hotels, airports, hospitals, schools or shopping centers. Its halogen-free coating provides greater safety for users in the event of a short circuit or other event leading to ignition. The cable is also characterized by good resistance to weathering and mechanical factors.
It can be laid in various ways:
- surface, under-plaster and embedded
- in concrete (excluding single-fractional screed concrete, vibratory concrete and rammed concrete)
- outdoors
Advantages and benefits
- Fire safety: The halogen-free coating minimizes the emission of toxic gases during a fire. This is key to protecting health and saving lives.
- Versatility: The cable is suitable for use in various conditions – indoors and outdoors, in dry and damp rooms.
- Compliance with standards: Meets the requirements of DIN VDE 0250 part 214, which guarantees high quality and reliability.
- Resistance: Exhibits resistance to ozone and low and high temperatures (range from -30°C to +70°C).
- Core identification: Colored core identification makes installation and subsequent servicing easier in accordance with DIN VDE 0293-308.
- Rated voltage: Designed to operate at a rated voltage of 500 V (300 V between cores).
