Flexible cable for applications requiring high flexibility

This metered m.FLEX 512-PUR 25G2,5 flexible cable is a solution dedicated to industrial environments, robotics and moving parts of machines, where resistance to repeated bending and mechanical loads is crucial. Made of high-quality materials, it ensures reliable operation in demanding conditions. The cable design is intended for long-term use and minimizing the risk of failure.

Construction and properties

The cable is characterized by a construction that provides exceptional flexibility and durability. It consists of 25 multi-wire copper conductors (class 6), insulated with modified PP. These conductors are twisted in parallel, and each layer of twisted conductors has a special protective braid (up to 4 mm²). The whole is surrounded by a special TMPU polyurethane outer jacket, which provides resistance to abrasion, tearing and chemical agents. The yellow-green protective conductor is located externally (from 3 conductors). The conductor insulation has a slippery TPE surface, which facilitates cable routing in tight spaces and reduces the risk of damage during movement.

This cable is also distinguished by the absence of halogen in the insulation, which increases safety in the event of a fire. In addition, the materials used in production do not contain silicone or cadmium, or substances that interfere with painting. The nominal conductor cross-section is 2.5 mm², and the rated voltage U0/U is 300/500 V. The cable is tested at 3000 V and has an insulation resistance of min. 100 MOhm x km.
