The double-shielded construction (foil and braid) provides high resistance to interference, guaranteeing stable and reliable data transmission over long distances. The cable is particularly recommended for RS 422 and RS 485 interfaces, where high speed and signal quality are crucial.

Construction and properties ensuring durability

The cable is characterized by a solid construction designed for long-term use. Twisted pair copper conductors minimize the impact of external disturbances, and polyethylene (PE) insulation provides flexibility and abrasion resistance. The outer PVC jacket protects the cable from mechanical damage and weathering. This makes the cable suitable for both stationary and mobile installations, with medium mechanical stress.

The conductor/conductor test voltage is 2000 V and conductor/screen 1000 V, which confirms its high insulation quality. The minimum bending radius is 12 x cable diameter during dynamic operation and 7.5 x cable diameter for stationary laying, ensuring easy installation even in tight spaces.
