This flexible control cable, catalog number 21146, is designed for transmitting signals in environments exposed to electromagnetic interference. The cable is designed for reliable data transmission over significant distances, especially in RS 422 and RS 485 interfaces. It will work well in both stationary and mobile installations where flexibility and resistance to mechanical loads are required.

The PAAR-TRONIC-LI-2YCYV cable is characterized by a construction that provides effective protection against interference. Twisted pairs of wires minimize the influence of the electric field, and double shielding – with foil and copper braid – further increases resistance to interference. Made of high-quality materials, including polyethylene (PE) insulation and an outer PVC jacket, it guarantees long-lasting and trouble-free operation.

Construction and properties

The cable construction has been carefully designed for ease of installation and reliable connections. Copper strands twisted in pairs facilitate work with Termi-Point® technology, enabling quick and solderless connections. The reinforced outer jacket made of PVC provides resistance to mechanical damage and allows the cable to be used both indoors and outdoors – including in the ground.
