Flexible cable for medium mechanical loads

This flexible power cable, with a cross-section of 50 mm², is designed for applications requiring flexible connections without tensile stress. It is ideal for industrial environments, in machines, with conveyors, and in control and measurement systems. The cable's construction with color-coded cores facilitates identification and connection, and the protective conductor provides additional safety.

The JB-750 5G50 cable is characterized by high resistance to oils and chemicals, making it reliable in harsh working conditions. Made of polyvinyl chloride (PVC) both in core insulation and in the outer sheath, it provides good protection against mechanical damage and the effects of atmospheric factors. This makes it suitable for use in dry, damp and wet rooms – although not in open spaces.

Construction and properties

The cable is constructed of multi-wire copper conductors (class 5), which gives it high flexibility and resistance to bending. The cores are insulated with special TI2 PVC, and their color scheme is in accordance with the JB/OB code, which facilitates identification during installation. The protective conductor (yellow-green) placed close to the outer jacket further increases safety. The whole is surrounded by a durable outer sheath made of special TM2 PVC, gray in color (RAL 7001).

It meets the requirements of the CE standard – this confirms its compliance with the Low Voltage Directive 2014/35/EU and DIN VDE 0482-332-1-2 / DIN EN 60332-1-2 / IEC 60332-1 concerning flame retardancy and self-extinguishing of PVC. Additionally, the materials used in production do not contain silicone or cadmium, or substances that interfere with painting.
