Flexible power cable for safety systems

This yellow, three-core JB-750 cable with a cross-section of 2.5 mm² is a reliable solution for electrical connections requiring flexibility and resistance to external factors. The cable is designed for use in machine and device safety systems, meeting EN 60204 part 1 and DIN VDE 0113 part 1 standards. Construction and properties

The cable features a solid construction: multi-strand copper conductors (class 5) are insulated with special PVC TI2, and the whole is surrounded by a durable outer PVC TM2 coating. The conductors are color-coded for easy identification, and the cable also has a yellow-green protective conductor. The outer diameter of the cable is 9.3 mm. It is worth noting that the materials used in production do not contain silicone, cadmium, or substances that interfere with painting. In addition, the PVC coating is self-extinguishing and flame-retardant, as confirmed by VDE 0482-332-1-2, DIN EN 60332-1-2/ IEC 60332-1 tests.

Operating parameters and compliance with standards

The JB-750 cable is designed to operate in a wide temperature range – from -40°C to +80°C in stationary mode and from -15°C to +80°C during flexible operation. The rated voltage U is 750 V, and the test voltage is 4000 V. The minimum bending radius is 7.5 x cable diameter during flexible operation and 4 x diameter during fixed installation. The cable complies with the Low Voltage Directive 2014/35/EU (CE marking). The insulation resistance is at least 20 MOhm x km. Radiation resistance is up to 80 x 106 cJ/kg (up to 80 Mrad).
