Universal control cable for industrial and installation applications
This dual-rated control cable JZ-602, with a cross-section of 4 mm² (AWG12), is designed for reliable transmission of control signals in a wide range of applications. It meets the requirements of UL and CSA standards, guaranteeing its safety and compatibility with various systems. The cable is metered, making it easy to precisely adjust the length to the installation needs. Its gray jacket provides good visibility and identification.
Construction and properties ensuring durability
The cable is characterized by a solid construction, based on a multi-strand copper conductor twisted according to DIN VDE 0295, BS 6360 and IEC 60228 standards. The insulation of the conductors is made of high-quality PVC TI3, providing good electrical insulation and mechanical resistance. The conductors are twisted in parallel, and the whole is surrounded by a durable outer jacket made of PVC YM5. Additionally, the cable is resistant to mineral, synthetic and water-based coolants – making it an ideal choice for industrial environments. It is also important that the materials used in production do not contain silicone, cadmium or substances that interfere with painting.
Safety and compliance with standards
The JZ-602 cable has been tested for fire resistance and meets the requirements of IEC 60332-1-2, DIN VDE 0482-332-1-2 and UL VW-1 / CSA FT1 standards. It has UL/CSA AWM I/II A/B Style 2587 approvals, confirming its compliance with stringent safety standards. The operating temperature range is from -40°C to +90°C (stationary) and from -5°C to +90°C (flexible), allowing it to be used in various environmental conditions. The rated voltage U is 600V and the test voltage is 3000V. The insulation resistance is at least 20 MOhm x km. The outer diameter of the cable is approximately 9.7 mm.
