Product features
- High reliability and flexibility in every application
This multi-core control cable, catalog number 83042, is an ideal solution for control systems, machines and industrial equipment. The cable is designed to operate under medium mechanical load, both in dry and humid environments. Its construction and materials guarantee high reliability and long service life.
Construction and properties
The cable is characterized by a solid construction, based on stranded copper conductors of class 5, providing high flexibility. The core insulation is made of high-quality polyvinyl chloride (PVC) TI3, and the outer jacket made of PVC YM5 provides resistance to abrasion and external factors. The cores are twisted in parallel, which facilitates their identification thanks to the black color with white numbering. Additionally, the cable has a yellow-green protective conductor (from 3 cores), increasing safety. The outer diameter of the cable is approximately 12.5 mm.
The cable is resistant to mineral, synthetic oils and water-based coolants – making it an ideal choice for industrial environments. The materials used in production are silicone, cadmium and paint-inhibiting substance free. It meets the requirements of UL/CSA AWM I/II A/B Style 2587 and CSA standards, confirming its high quality and safety.
Technical parameters and operating range
The cable is designed to operate at a rated voltage of 600 V and a test voltage of 3000 V. The operating temperature range is from -5°C to +90°C flexible and from -40°C to +90°C stationary. The minimum bending radius during installation is 7.5 x cable diameter (flexible) or 4 x cable diameter (fixed). The cross-section of the core is 6 mm², corresponding to approximately AWG10. The insulation resistance is at least 20 MOhm x km. The cable is also resistant to radiation up to 80 x 10⁶ cJ/kg (up to 80 Mrad).
Additionally, it is worth mentioning its fire-retardant properties – it meets IEC 60332-1-2, UL VW-1 and CSA FT1 standards, confirming its safety in the event of a fire.
