Universal control cable for industrial and installation applications
This 7-core UL-CSA 600V cable is a flexible solution for control systems where reliability and resistance to external factors are required. This cable is used in connections between control panels and machines or other industrial equipment, both in dry and humid environments with medium mechanical load. Thanks to UL and CSA certifications, it meets stringent safety and quality standards.
Construction and properties
The cable is characterized by a solid construction, ensuring long-term and trouble-free operation. Twisted copper conductors, made in flexibility class 5, guarantee flexibility and ease of installation. PVC TI3 insulation provides good electrical protection, and the outer PVC YM5 coating – resistance to abrasion and mechanical damage. The gray color facilitates identification in the installation.
It is worth noting the high resistance to mineral, synthetic and water-based coolants, which makes it an ideal choice for industrial environments. The materials used in production are silicone, cadmium and paint-inhibiting substance free. The cable is also self-extinguishing and flame-retardant, increasing safety – confirmed by tests according to DIN VDE 0482-332-1-2, DIN EN 60332-1-2, IEC 60332-1, UL VW-1 and CSA FT1.
Technical parameters and application
The cable has a nominal conductor cross-section of 2.5 mm² (AWG 14) and a rated voltage of 600 V. It can operate in a wide temperature range: from -40°C to +90°C (stationary) and from -5°C to +90°C (flexible). The outer diameter is approximately 11.5 mm. Thanks to the yellow-green protective conductor (in the "G" standard), it ensures safe operation of the installation. The minimum bending radius during laying is 4 x cable diameter for fixed installations and 7.5 x cable diameter for flexible operation.
This cable is not just an electrical connection – it is an investment in the reliability and safety of your installation. It will work well both in new projects and in the modernization of existing control systems.
