This flexible 600 V control cable with UL and CSA approval is the ideal solution for machines and installations where high reliability and resistance to harsh conditions are required. This cable is perfect for both machine construction and industrial installations, ensuring safe and efficient power transmission. It is designed for laying in dry and damp rooms with medium mechanical load, but not outdoors.

Construction and properties

The cable is characterized by a careful construction that guarantees its durability and functionality. Made of stranded copper conductors, insulated with PVC, it has a screen of copper wires providing protection against electromagnetic interference (EMC). This braid, in combination with a suitable cable gland, optimizes electromagnetic compatibility. The outer jacket made of PVC provides resistance to mineral and synthetic oils and coolants – confirmed by oil resistance tests. The materials used in production are silicone-free, cadmium-free and do not contain substances that interfere with painting.

• Conductors: Stranded copper, twisted according to DIN VDE 0295 cl. 5 / IEC 60228 cl. 5 – guarantees flexibility and reliability of connections.
• Insulation: Special PVC TI3 according to DIN VDE 0207-363-3 / DIN EN 50363-3 and UL Std. 1581 cl. 43 – provides high electrical insulation and resistance to external factors.
• Screen: Braid of copper wires with approximately 85% coverage – effective protection against electromagnetic interference.
• Outer jacket: Special PVC YM5 according to DIN VDE 0207 part 5 and UL-Std. 1587 – resistant to abrasion, oils and other chemicals.
• Color: Gray (RAL 7001) – facilitates identification and aesthetics of the installation.

Technical parameters and application

The UL-CSA 600 V OZ-602-CY cable with a cross-section of 2x1 AWG18 (1 mm²) has a rated voltage of 600 V and an allowable operating temperature of -40°C to +90°C (without vibration). Its approximate outer diameter is 8.1 mm. This cable is ideal for applications requiring flexibility, oil resistance and protection against electromagnetic interference. Thanks to UL/CSA certificates, it meets the strict safety standards applicable in the USA and Canada, making it an excellent choice for exporting machines and equipment to these countries. Additionally, the cable complies with the Low Voltage Directive 2014/35/EU (CE).
