Construction and properties
The cable is characterized by a solid construction, based on multi-wire copper conductors (class 5) insulated with high-quality PVC. The conductors are black with white numbers for easy identification. The screen in the form of a braid of copper wires provides effective protection against electromagnetic interference (EMC), which is crucial in modern control and measurement installations. Additionally, the outer PVC coating protects the cable against mechanical damage and weathering. The cable is UV resistant and does not contain silicone, cadmium or substances that interfere with painting.
Applications and technical parameters
The OZ-500-C cable is widely used in mechanical engineering, especially for powering production lines, conveyor belts and control and signaling devices. It will also be useful in building installations where flexibility and resistance to external factors are required.
The cable is characterized by a rated voltage of 500 V, a conductor cross-section of 1.5 mm², has 2 conductors and an outer diameter of approximately 7.8 mm. The operating temperature range is from -40°C to +80°C after installation and from -15°C to +80°C during installation. Radiation resistance reaches up to 80 x 10⁶ cJ/kg (80 Mrad), and the minimum bending radius is 10 x outer diameter for flexible operation and 5 x outer diameter for fixed laying.
The cable meets the standards DIN VDE 0285-525-2-51/DIN EN 50525-2-51 and has a CE certificate confirming compliance with the low-voltage directive 2014/35/EU. It is also tested for flammability according to DIN VDE 0482-332-1-2 / DIN EN 60332-1-2 / IEC 60332-1.
