The NYM-J 4x1.5 cable is a versatile installation cable, ideal for both professional installers and end users. Construction and properties
The NYM-J cable is characterized by a solid construction. It has four copper conductors with a cross-section of 1.5 mm², each insulated with polyvinyl chloride (PVC). The conductors are twisted, which increases the cable's flexibility and facilitates its installation. Additionally, the cable has an outer PVC coating that provides protection against mechanical damage and the influence of atmospheric factors. The gray color (RAL 7035) makes it easier to identify the cable in the installation. Conductor identification is done using colors, which facilitates correct connection.
The cable meets the DIN VDE 0250 part 204 standard and has a rated voltage of 500 V and a test voltage of 2000 V. It is designed to operate at temperatures from -40°C to +70°C (stationary) and from +5°C to +70°C (flexible). The minimum bending radius for fixed laying is 4 x cable diameter. UV resistance is up to 80 x 10⁶ cJ/kg (80 Mrad), allowing it to be used in outdoor installations, provided it is protected from direct sunlight.

The NYM-J 4x1.5 cable finds wide application in:
