NYY-J cable is a reliable power supply solution, designed for both underground and indoor installations. Made from high-quality materials, it ensures safe and long-lasting power transmission. Construction and characteristics

The NYY-J cable is constructed in accordance with DIN VDE 0276-603 / HD 603 S1 / IEC 60502 standards (from 7 cores – DIN VDE 0276-627 / HD 627 S1 / IEC 60502). It consists of copper cores, insulated with polyvinyl chloride (PVC), twisted in layers. The whole is surrounded by an external coating of PVC type DMV5, providing protection against external factors. The cores are identified with colors according to DIN VDE 0293-308, which facilitates their differentiation during installation. The J version also has an additional yellow-green protective core.

Application and parameters

This cable is a universal choice for installers and end-users. It will work in installations with a rated voltage of up to 1000 kV (U) and 600 kV (U0). This cable can operate at temperatures from -40°C to +70°C (stationary) and from -5°C to +50°C (flexible), making it suitable for various environmental conditions. The maximum permissible conductor temperature is 70°C. The cable has a core cross-section of 1.5 mm² and consists of 30 cores, allowing for the transmission of a significant amount of energy. The outer diameter of the cable is approximately 26 mm.

Additionally, the cable is resistant to UV radiation and does not contain silicone, cadmium or substances that hinder painting – which is important for possible later modifications to the installation. This ensures its durability and reliability for long-term use.
