The NYY-J 4x16 cable is designed to operate in a wide temperature range – from -40°C to +70°C (during stationary operation) and from -5°C to +50°C during installation. It can be used in power plants, industry, switchgear, local networks, and in cable ducts. It meets the requirements of DIN VDE 0276-603 / HD 603 S1 / IEC 60502 standards, which guarantees its safety and reliability. The rated voltage of the cable is 1000 kV (U) and 600 kV (U0).

Construction and features affecting performance

The cable consists of four copper conductors of class 1 (single-wire), insulated with PVC. The wires are twisted in layers, which ensures optimal core spacing and minimizes the risk of mechanical damage. The round shape of the wires facilitates cable routing, and the lack of a screen reduces costs without compromising safety. The outer diameter of the cable is approximately 21.5 mm. Additionally, the cable is UV resistant, which increases its durability in outdoor applications.
