This power cable is designed for a wide range of applications, both in fixed installations and in dynamic conditions. It will work both indoors and outdoors – directly in the ground or in cable ducts. Made of high-quality materials, it ensures reliable transmission of electrical energy.

The NYCWY 3x95/50 SM cable is characterized by a construction adapted to demanding working conditions. Copper conductors with a cross-section of 95 mm² are insulated with polyvinyl chloride (PVC), which guarantees good resistance to mechanical damage and atmospheric factors. The lack of shielding makes this cable an economical solution where protection against electromagnetic interference is not a priority.

Construction and properties

The cable consists of three copper conductors with a cross-section of 95 mm², each insulated with PVC. The conductors are twisted concentrically, and the whole is surrounded by an external PVC coating, providing additional protection. The C characteristic allows it to react more slowly to short current surges, therefore it tolerates starting devices with a motor well. The concentric conductor can be used as a PE or PEN protective conductor, as well as a screen – which gives flexibility in the selection of installation configuration. Resistance to operating temperature up to 70°C and the ability to work in the temperature range from -40°C to +70°C make this cable perfect for various climatic conditions.

Technical data and compliance with standards

The cable meets the requirements of DIN VDE 0276 part 603, HD 603 S1 and IEC 60502. The rated voltage of the cable is 1000 kV (U) and 600 kV (U0). The outer diameter of the cable is approximately 38 mm. The material of the outer sheath is polyvinyl chloride (PVC), and the material of the core insulation is also PVC. The permissible pulling force during installation is up to 14250 N for a cable with a cross-section of 3x95/50 mm². The cable is flame retardant and self-extinguishing – tested according to DIN VDE 0482-332-1-2 and DIN EN 60332-1-2. Core marking is done using colors according to DIN VDE 0293-308.
