The cable consists of a multi-strand copper core, tinned for increased corrosion resistance. The insulation is made of cross-linked halogen-free material, ensuring safety in the event of a fire – it limits the release of toxic gases. The durable outer sheath, also halogen-free, protects the cable from mechanical damage and weathering. This means the cable meets the requirements of protection class II in protection against electric shock. The operating voltage AC is 1000/1000 V, and DC 1500/1500 V, and the maximum voltage to ground is 1800 V DC. The cable has passed voltage tests at 6.5 kV AC.
