Power cable PVC NYY-J 30G2,5 RE – reliability and safety in every application

This power cable is a solid solution for a wide range of electrical installations. Designed for use both underground and indoors, it provides safe and efficient power transmission. The construction with thirty cores with a cross-section of 2.5 mm² makes it ideal for more complex power systems. Made of high-quality polyvinyl chloride (PVC) both as core insulation and external coating, it guarantees durability and resistance to external conditions.

The NYY-J 30G2,5 RE cable is designed with versatility in mind. It can be used in cable ducts, power plants, industry, and local networks. Its durability allows for safe operation even in difficult conditions – from -40°C to +70°C. The use of single-wire copper cores of class 1 ensures good conductivity and reliable connections. Color identification of cores in accordance with DIN VDE 0293-308 facilitates installation and servicing.

Construction and properties

The cable is characterized by a solid construction ensuring long-term and trouble-free operation. The cores are twisted in layers, which optimizes their arrangement and minimizes the risk of mechanical damage. The external coating made of PVC type DMV5 provides protection against moisture, UV radiation and other external factors. The rated voltage of the cable is 1000 kV (U) and 600 kV (U0), which makes it suitable for most standard energy applications. The approximate outer diameter of the cable is 28 mm.

Additionally, the cable meets the requirements of DIN VDE 0276-603 / HD 603 S1 / IEC 60502 and DIN VDE 0276-627 / HD 627 S1 / IEC 60502 (from 7 cores), which confirms its high quality and safety of use. It is flame retardant according to DIN VDE 0482-332-1-2/DIN EN 60332-1-2/IEC 60332-1-2. Thanks to this, it can be used in places with increased fire safety requirements.
