This shielded PE/PVC cable, twisted pair, with a cross-section of 2x2x0.75 mm², is a solid solution for data transmission in various applications. The RE-2Y(ST)Yv cable has been designed with demanding working conditions in mind. Made of high-quality materials, it ensures reliable operation for a long time. The construction of polyethylene (PE) and polyvinyl chloride (PVC) guarantees flexibility and resistance to mechanical damage and atmospheric factors. The possibility of permanent laying in wet and humid rooms, as well as underground, expands the scope of its applications.
Construction and properties
The cable is characterized by a careful construction that provides optimal electrical and mechanical parameters:
- Twisted pairs: Reduce electromagnetic interference and improve data transmission quality.
- Foil shielding: Protects against the influence of external electromagnetic fields, ensuring a stable signal.
- Stranded wire core: Increases the flexibility of the cable, making installation and routing easier.
- PVC outer jacket: Provides resistance to abrasion, chemicals and UV radiation.
- Available outer diameter: approximately 10.4 mm makes it easier to route the cable in existing installations.
- Temperature range: Operation at temperatures from -40°C to +70°C (stationary) and from -5°C to +50°C (flexible) allows the cable to be used in difficult environmental conditions.
The cable meets the Eca standard regarding reaction to fire, which increases the safety of the installation. Additionally, it has a working voltage of 300V, making it suitable for control applications. Insulation resistance is min. 5 GOhm x km, which guarantees a high-quality connection.
