Construction and properties
The cable consists of 16 conductors twisted into 8 pairs, each individually shielded with metallized foil (PiMF). An additional common screen provides comprehensive protection against interference. The un-tinned copper conductors with a cross-section of 1.3 mm² ensure good electrical conductivity. The conductor insulation is made of polyethylene (PE), and the outer jacket of PVC, providing resistance to abrasion and weathering.
