High-temperature silicone cable – reliability in harsh conditions
This single-core HELUKABEL SiF silicone cable is a solution for demanding applications where standard cabling fails. Designed to operate at extreme temperatures, it performs where other cables degrade. Made of copper, with a flexible, multi-strand class 5 conductor, it provides a reliable connection and easy installation. Silicone insulation guarantees resistance to high temperatures and aggressive environments.
Construction and properties
The cable is characterized by a solid construction: a copper stranded conductor class 5 is surrounded by silicone insulation, ensuring flexibility and durability. The cable is halogen-free, which increases safety in the event of a fire – it limits the emission of toxic gases. The rated voltage of 300/500V makes it suitable for a wide range of applications. The outer diameter of 2.1 mm with a cross-section of 0.25 mm² provides an optimal ratio of flexibility to mechanical strength.
Applications and benefits
The HELUTHERM SiF cable finds application in many industries: steel, metallurgical, aviation, shipbuilding, cement and ceramic. It is ideal for use in power plants due to its halogen-free properties. Its resistance to high temperatures (up to +180°C in stationary and flexible operation) and low temperatures (down to -60°C) makes it indispensable in harsh working conditions. Additionally, it exhibits resistance to oils, greases and many chemicals. This makes it an investment in the safety and long-term reliability of installations.
