Single-core silicone wire, high temperature resistant SiF 1x1.5mm² purple 23607
Silicone wire for demanding applications
This purple, single-core wire, made of copper, stands out for its exceptional resistance to extreme temperatures. Designed to operate in the range of -60°C to +180°C, it performs where standard wires fail. The silicone insulation construction provides not only flexibility but also safety – it is a halogen-free wire that meets standards for smoke and toxic gas emissions in the event of a fire.
Construction and properties
The wire is characterized by a multi-strand, flexible class 5 core, which facilitates installation and ensures reliable connections. Its outer diameter is approximately 3 mm with a cross-section of 1.5 mm². The working voltage strength is 300/500V, and the test voltage reaches 2000V. Additionally, the wire is resistant to many chemical substances – oils, greases, diluted acids and alkalis. This makes it an ideal solution in harsh industrial conditions.
Application in industry and beyond
SiF wire is particularly recommended for applications in industries such as: steel, metallurgical, aviation, shipbuilding, cement and ceramic. Halogen-free properties allow its use even in power plants. Thanks to its flexibility and resistance to high temperatures, it finds application in heating devices, industrial furnaces and everywhere where reliability and safety are required in extreme conditions. The minimum bending radius is 6x the wire diameter for fixed laying and 15x the diameter for flexible operation.
