Extreme application silicone cable
This brown, single-core HELUTHERM SiF cable with a cross-section of 2.5 mm² is a reliable solution for conducting energy in demanding conditions. Made of copper with silicone insulation, it provides flexibility and resistance to extreme temperatures – from -60°C to +180°C in stationary mode, and even up to +180°C during flexible operation. The cable is designed to operate at 300/500V and is characterized by high resistance to external factors.
Construction and properties
The HELUTHERM SiF cable is distinguished by its construction ensuring long-lasting and safe operation. The multi-strand flexible copper conductor, class 5 (according to DIN VDE 0295/IEC 60228), guarantees good conductivity and flexibility. Silicone insulation provides not only resistance to high temperatures but also to oils, greases, solvents and many chemicals. Additionally, the cable is halogen-free, which increases safety in the event of a fire – it meets the IEC 60332-1-2 standard. The outer diameter of the cable is approximately 3.6 mm.
