Control and power cable for demanding conditions

This black, four-core silicone cable THERMFLEX® 180 EWKF is a solution for installations where standard cables fail. Designed to operate in extreme temperatures and harsh mechanical conditions, it is suitable for both industrial and specialized applications. Its construction ensures reliability and safety in places exposed to high thermal and mechanical loads.

Construction and properties

The cable is characterized by a flexible construction with a multi-wire, flexible core of class 5. The core insulation is made of special EI2 silicone, providing high resistance to temperature and chemicals. The cores are identified by colors according to DIN VDE 0293-308 (colored up to 5 cores, above 6 – black with white numbering). The cable has a yellow-green protective core (located externally above 3 cores). The outer jacket is made of durable 2GM1 silicone, which provides resistance to abrasion, cuts and other mechanical damage. Additionally, the cable is available in FRNC version (Flame Retardant Non Corrosive) – self-extinguishing and not emitting toxic gases during combustion.

The core cross-section is 0.75 mm², and the outer diameter is approximately 7.6 mm. The rated voltage U is 500 V. The cable is metered for convenient installation. Thanks to its properties, it is a reliable solution for the most demanding electrical applications.
