High-temperature resistant control and power cable
This shielded control and power cable, made of silicone, is designed to operate in extreme temperature conditions. It is ideal for use wherever standard cabling fails – in metallurgical plants, power plants, shipyards, cement plants, or when wiring high-power heating and lighting devices. Its construction ensures reliable operation even when exposed to high temperatures, oils, greases, and other aggressive chemicals.
Construction and properties
The cable is characterized by a construction guaranteeing long-term and safe operation. Twisted copper strands made of stranded wire class 5 (according to DIN VDE 0295) provide flexibility and resistance to mechanical fatigue. Insulation of the cores made of silicone and the outer silicone coating guarantee resistance to temperatures up to +180°C (short-term up to +220°C) and low temperatures down to -60°C. Shielding in the form of a braid of tinned copper wires minimizes electromagnetic interference, which is particularly important in control and data transmission systems. Additionally, the cable is halogen-free, which increases safety in the event of a fire.

SiHF-C-Si 3G1,5 mm² cable is a solution for demanding applications. Its versatility allows it to be used in both fixed and flexible installations. Thanks to its high chemical and thermal resistance, it performs perfectly in harsh industrial conditions. The use of a shield ensures stable signal transmission without interference. Core color coding according to DIN VDE 0293-308 facilitates identification during assembly and maintenance. The cable is designed to operate at a rated voltage of 500 V and has an allowable ambient temperature of -60°C to +180°C during operation and installation. The insulation resistance is min. 200 MOhm x km, which confirms the high quality of workmanship.
