Silicone control and power cable, shielded, high temperature resistant SiHF-C-Si 7G0,75 mm² brick red, conductor identification acc. to DIN VDE 0293-308 23164
Control and power cable SiHF-C-Si is a specialized solution for applications requiring high thermal resistance and flexibility. This cable, made with silicone insulation, is designed to operate in extreme conditions where standard cabling fails. Using it in industrial installations, heating devices, or high-temperature lighting guarantees reliability and safety.
Construction and properties
The cable is characterized by an advanced construction, providing optimal performance parameters. It is made of multi-strand, twisted copper wire (class 5), which gives it high flexibility and resistance to mechanical fatigue. The wires are insulated with silicone, guaranteeing resistance to high and low temperatures – from -60°C to +180°C (short-term up to +220°C). Additionally, the cable has a screen in the form of a copper braid, which minimizes electromagnetic interference and ensures a stable signal transfer. The whole is surrounded by a special outer coating of silicone rubber in brick red color.
The cable meets the requirements of DIN VDE 0250 part 1 and DIN VDE 0285-525-2-83 / DIN EN 50525-2-83, which confirms its high quality and safety. It is also halogen-free, which increases safety in the event of a fire and minimizes the emission of toxic substances.
Applications and benefits
The SiHF-C-Si cable finds wide application in various industries:
- Power plants and metallurgy: Due to its high thermal resistance, it is ideal for working in high-temperature environments.
- Shipbuilding industry: Resistance to atmospheric and chemical factors makes it reliable in harsh marine conditions.
- Cement plants: Resistance to abrasion and mechanical damage guarantees long-term operation in demanding production conditions.
- Heating devices and high-temperature lighting: Safe energy conduction in applications generating heat.
- Industrial automation: Shielding ensures stable transfer of control signals in electromagnetically disturbed environments.
It is worth paying attention to a few key advantages:
- Wide operating temperature range: Allows the cable to be used in extreme thermal conditions.
- High flexibility: Facilitates installation and routing of cables in tight spaces.
- Shielding: Ensures stable signal transfer and minimizes electromagnetic interference.
- Halogen-free: Increases fire safety and minimizes the emission of toxic substances during combustion.
- Chemical resistance: Guarantees reliable operation in aggressive industrial environments.
This cable is available with 7 cores with a cross-section of 0.75 mm², which allows it to be adapted to different installation needs. Core identification is carried out in accordance with DIN VDE 0293-308 – up to 5 cores, the colors comply with the standard, and above 5 cores – black with white numbering for easy identification of each core during installation or service. The rated voltage U is 500V.
