This specialized silicone-insulated cable is designed for applications requiring high thermal resistance and flexibility. The SiHF-C-Si 7G1.5 mm² cable combines advanced insulation properties with effective shielding, ensuring reliable operation in harsh industrial conditions and special applications.
Construction and properties
The cable features a construction based on seven copper strands with a cross-section of 1.5 mm², twisted to ensure flexibility and durability. The strands are insulated with silicone, guaranteeing resistance to extreme temperatures – from -60°C to +180°C (short-term up to +220°C). Additionally, the cable has a copper braid screen that minimizes electromagnetic interference (EMC) and ensures stable signal transmission. The whole is surrounded by a special outer coating of silicone in brick red color.
The cable meets the standards DIN VDE 0250 part 1 and DIN VDE 0285-525-2-83 / DIN EN 50525-2-83, confirming its high quality and safety of use. It is also halogen-free, increasing safety in the event of a fire (according to IEC 60332-1-2).
