Universal installation cable for wide application

This green single-core PVC H05V-K cable with a cross-section of 0.5 mm² is a versatile solution for various electrical applications. Made of multi-strand, flexible class 5 conductor, covered with polyvinyl chloride (PVC) insulation, it provides reliable connections in DC installations. It will work well in control cabinets, switchboards, and automation devices.

Construction and properties

The cable is characterized by a single, whitened copper core twisted according to DIN VDE 0295 cl. 5, BS 6360 cl. 5 and IEC 60228 cl. 5 standards. The insulation is made of special PVC YI3, meeting the requirements of DIN VDE 0812. The outer diameter of the cable is approximately 2 mm. The flexibility of the cable guarantees comfortable work during installation and connections, and the materials used in production are free of silicone, cadmium and substances that interfere with painting. The cable is tested for self-extinguishing and flame retardancy according to DIN VDE 0482-332-1-2 DIN EN 60332-1-2 and IEC 60332-1 standards.

Scope of application and operating parameters

The H05V-K cable is designed to operate at temperatures from -30°C to +80°C in stationary mode and from -5°C to +70°C in flexible mode. The rated voltage U0 is 500 V, and U – 300 V. The insulation resistance is at least 10 MOhm x km. The minimum bending radius is 4x the cable diameter. The cable is resistant to radiation up to 80 x 106 cJ/kg (up to 80 Mrad). Please note that it is not suitable for high-current installations or outdoor use.
