Single-core PVC cable H05V-K 1x0.5 mm² purple 26444
Universal installation cable – reliability and flexibility
This purple single-core H05V-K cable with a cross-section of 0.5 mm² is a universal solution for a wide range of electrical applications. Made of copper, covered with PVC insulation, it provides safe and efficient power transmission in DC installations. Its flexible construction makes it easy to install even in tight spaces, and high-quality workmanship guarantees long-lasting and trouble-free operation.
Construction and properties – the key to versatility
The cable is characterized by a single, whitened copper core twisted according to DIN VDE 0295 class 5, BS 6360 class 5 and IEC 60228 class 5 standards. The insulation is made of special PVC YI3, meeting the requirements of DIN VDE 0812. This combination of materials provides not only good electrical insulation, but also resistance to mechanical damage and external factors. The cable is tested for self-extinguishing and flame retardancy according to DIN VDE 0482-332-1-2 and DIN EN 60332-1-2 (IEC 60332-1) standards.
- Flexibility: Multi-wire core construction (class 5) makes it easy to route cables in tight spaces and provides resistance to material fatigue during repeated bending.
- Safety: PVC insulation provides high resistance to electrical breakdown and protects against electric shock.
- Temperature range: The cable retains its properties over a wide temperature range – from -5°C to +70°C (flexible) and from -30°C to +80°C (stationary).
- Resistance: Materials used in production are free of silicone, cadmium and substances that interfere with painting.
- Compliance with standards: The cable meets the requirements of the Low Voltage Directive 2014/35/EU (CE marking).
Applications – where will this cable work?
The purple H05V-K cable is an ideal choice for:
- Electrical installations inside buildings – both in home and industrial installations.
- Control cabinets and switchgear – as a cable connecting individual elements of the control system.
- Automation devices – providing reliable electrical connections in process automation systems.
- Internal connections of electrical and electronic devices – where flexibility and good insulation are required.
- Lighting installation – both traditional and LED.
However, remember that the cable is not intended for high-current installations or outdoor use. The minimum bending radius of the cable is 4x its outer diameter (approximately 8mm). The insulation resistance is minimum 10 MOhm x km. The test voltage for this core cross-section is 1200V.
