This single-core PVC cable H05V-K is a versatile solution for a wide range of electrical applications. It is suitable for both fixed installations and where flexibility is required. The purple insulation makes it easy to identify circuits, which is particularly useful in more complex installations. Construction and parameters

The cable is made of copper, which guarantees good electrical conductivity. The copper core is stranded and covered with a polyvinyl chloride (PVC) insulation, providing protection against mechanical damage and external factors. The nominal core cross-section is 1 mm², and the rated voltage is 300/500 V. The cable is characterized by an approximate outer diameter of 2.3 mm and is supplied on reels with a length of 100 meters. Thanks to its flexible construction (class 5) it is easy to lay and connect.

Application and safety

The H05V-K cable is designed to operate at temperatures from -30°C to +80°C for fixed installations and from -5°C to +70°C for flexible connections. It meets the EN 60332-1-2 standard, which means it does not spread flames in the event of a fire, increasing safety. This is particularly important in public places and residential buildings. This cable is used in the wiring of lighting, sockets, RTV and household appliances, and wherever a reliable and safe electrical installation is required. In addition, its small dimensions allow for aesthetic cable routing even in tight spaces.
