Universal cable for demanding applications

This red, single-core PVC cable with a cross-section of 1.5 mm² is a solid choice for both professional installers and end-users. Its exceptional flexibility makes it comfortable to work with even in tight spaces and with complex connections. The cable is designed for durability and safety, meeting DIN VDE 0250, DIN VDE 0285-525-1 and DIN VDE 50525-1 standards.

Construction and properties

The cable is characterized by a multi-strand, very flexible, un-tinned copper core. PVC insulation provides good protection against mechanical damage and environmental influences. This makes it ideal for applications where the cable will be exposed to frequent bending – in control cabinets, laboratories or in mobile devices. The rated voltage U0/U is 300/500 V for cross-sections up to 1 mm² and 450/750 V for cross-sections from 1.5 mm² upwards. The cable withstands a test voltage of up to 3000 V (depending on the cross-section). The outer diameter of the cable is approximately 3.7 mm.
