Flexible cable for specialist applications

This exceptionally flexible single-core cable with PVC insulation is designed for demanding applications where standard cables fail. It is ideal for both control cabinet construction and precise measurement systems in laboratories. Its construction guarantees reliability and durability even with frequent bending and movement.

Construction and properties

The LiFY cable is characterized by a multi-wire, very flexible, un-tinned copper core, which provides exceptional flexibility. The insulation made of polyvinyl chloride (PVC) provides good protection against external influences. The cable meets the standards DIN VDE 0250, DIN VDE 0285-525-1 and DIN VDE 50525-1, which confirms its high quality and safety. The materials used in production are free of silicone, cadmium and substances that interfere with painting.

• Rated voltages: The cable is designed to operate at a rated voltage of U0 300V and U 1000V. The test voltage is up to 3000V depending on the core cross-section.
• Minimum bending radius: The flexibility of the cable allows bending at an angle of 8x the cable diameter without damaging the insulation.

Core cross-section 10 mm² and approximate outer diameter 7.6 mm provide adequate current carrying capacity and comfortable work during installation. Yellow-green color makes it easy to identify the cable as protective (PE).
