Single-core cable LiFY is a flexible solution for a wide range of electrical applications. Characteristics and application

LiFY cable is ideal for use in control cabinets, laboratories and anywhere requiring high flexibility and resistance to bending. Thanks to its construction and properties, it works perfectly in movable connections and installations exposed to frequent changes in position. Compliance with DIN VDE 0250, DIN VDE 0285-525-1 and DIN VDE 50525-1 standards guarantees safety and high product quality.

Construction and properties

The conductor made of stranded copper provides good electrical conductivity and flexibility. PVC insulation protects against mechanical damage and external factors. The cable is characterized by a rated voltage U0/U of 300/500 V for cross-sections up to 1 mm² and 450/750 V for cross-sections of 1.5 mm² and above. The rated conductor cross-section in this model is 35 mm², and the approximate outer diameter is 12.1 mm. The cable construction is based on a single core with a 4508 x 0.1 mm structure – which translates to its exceptional flexibility. It should be remembered that the cable is not suitable for high-current applications with a cross-section below 0.25 mm².
