This purple, single-core PVC cable, with a cross-section of 0.5 mm² and designation H05V2-K/AWG22, is a versatile solution for internal wiring. Compliance with standards and wide application

The cable is designed to meet stringent quality and safety standards. It complies with DIN VDE 0285-525-2-31, DIN EN 50525-2-31, UL-Std.1063/UL-Style 10269 (and Style 1015), CSA-TEW and CSA-AWM I A/B standards. This allows it to be used in a wide range of applications, both in Europe and beyond. It has HAR, UL-AWM, UL-MTW, CSA-AWM and CSA-Equipment-wire approvals, simplifying inventory and parts list management.

Construction and parameters

The cable is characterized by a flexible, stranded copper conductor, class 5 (according to DIN VDE 0295/IEC 60228/UL Std. 758) insulated with special PVC type TI3 (DIN VDE 0207-363-3/DIN EN 50363-3 and UL-Std. 1581). This ensures good electrical and mechanical insulation. The rated voltage U0/U is 600V / 500V (up to a cross-section of 1 mm²). The cable is designed to operate at temperatures from -40°C to +90°C (flexibly from +5°C to +90°C), and in the case of UL (AWM) approvals, even up to +105°C. The outer diameter of the cable is approximately 2.7 mm. The minimum bending radius depends on the cable diameter – for cables with a diameter below 8 mm, it is 4x the cable diameter, above 8 mm – 5x or 6x the cable diameter, respectively. The materials used in production do not contain silicone or cadmium, which is important from an environmental and safety point of view.
