Wide approvals and applications

This cable stands out from the competition by meeting as many as five standards: DIN VDE 0285-525-2-31, DIN EN 50525-2-31, UL-Std.1063, UL-Style 10269 (equivalent to Style 1015) and CSA-TEW and CSA-AWM I A/B. Such broad approvals make it particularly attractive to manufacturers of machinery and equipment intended for export. It will be suitable in machine tools, internal wiring of distribution boards and all kinds of electrical appliances requiring a reliable connection. Additional HAR, UL-AWM, UL-MTW, CSA-AWM and CSA-Equipment-wire approvals allow for simplification of the bill of materials and reduction of storage costs.

Construction and operating parameters

The cable has a stranded copper conductor of class 5 (DIN VDE 0295/IEC 60228), providing good flexibility and resistance to bending. The insulation is made of special PVC type TI3 (DIN VDE 0207-363-3/DIN EN 50363-3), guaranteeing safe use and long-lasting operation. The operating voltage is 300/500V (up to 1 mm²), and the operating temperature range is -40°C to +90°C in stationary mode and +5°C to +90°C in flexible mode. The cable is tested with 2000V (minimum 5kV for a cross-section of 0.5mm²). The minimum bending radius is 4x cable diameter for fixed laying. The materials used in production are free of silicone, cadmium and substances hindering painting. The cable is also characterized by good flame retardancy according to DIN VDE 0482-332-1-2/ DIN EN 60332-1- 2/IEC 60332-1-2/ UL VW-1 and CSA FT1 standards.
