Single-core PVC wire – a universal solution for various applications

This yellow single-core wire, manufactured according to UL/CSA FIVENORM H05V2-K standards, is a versatile element for electrical installations. It will work both in industrial applications and in the internal wiring of devices. Construction and properties

The wire is characterized by a multi-strand copper conductor of class 5, which ensures good flexibility and easy installation. PVC insulation of type TI3 guarantees resistance to abrasion and external factors. This makes the wire durable and reliable in operation. It meets the requirements of DIN VDE 0285-525-2-31/DIN EN 50525-2-31/UL-Std.1063/UL-Style 10269 (Style 1015) and CSA-TEW and CSA-AWM I A/B, which confirms its high quality and safety of use. Additionally, the materials used in production are free of silicone, cadmium and substances hindering painting.

Application and technical parameters

The wire is intended for internal wiring of distribution boards, machine tools and other electrical devices. It can be used in the temperature range from +5°C to +90°C (flexible) or from –40°C to +90°C (stationary), and in the case of UL approvals (AWM) even up to +105°C. The rated voltage U/U0 is 500/300 V (up to 1 mm²) or 600 V (UL AWM AC), 1250 V (UL AWM DC) and 600 V (CSA TEW). The conductor cross-section is 0.5 mm², and its approximate outer diameter is 2.7 mm. The test voltage for this cross-section is 5 kV. The minimum bending radius for fixed laying depends on the cable diameter – for cables with a diameter below 8 mm it is 4x cable diameter, above 8 mm – 5x or 6x cable diameter, respectively.
