Universal connection cable for wide application

This brown, single-core PVC cable with a cross-section of 0.75 mm² (AWG 20) is a versatile solution for internal wiring. Designed to meet export requirements and applications in machine tools, it will work well in distribution boards and inside electrical devices. Its construction and approvals make it an economical choice, simplifying inventory management.

Compliance with standards and installation flexibility

The cable meets as many as five standards: DIN VDE 0285-525-2-31, DIN EN 50525-2-31, UL-Std.1063, UL-Style 10269 (also Style 1015) and CSA-TEW and CSA-AWM I A/B. This ensures compliance with various installation and safety requirements. The flexible, stranded wire class 5 makes it easy to route cables even in tight spaces. The rated voltage U0/U is 600 V / 500 V, respectively, guaranteeing safe operation in many applications.

Construction and user properties

The cable is characterized by a solid construction: un-tinned copper, stranded wire class 5 (DIN VDE 0295/IEC 60228/UL Std. 758) provides good conductivity and flexibility. PVC insulation type TI3 (DIN VDE 0207-363-3/DIN EN 50363-3 and UL-Std. 1581, CSA-C 22.2 No. 210 Tab. 12 Class H) provides effective protection against mechanical damage and environmental influences. In addition, the materials used in production are free of silicone, cadmium and substances that hinder painting – which is important in some industrial applications. The cable has HAR, UL-AWM, UL-MTW, CSA-AWM and CSA-Equipment-wire approvals, allowing for its wide application and simplifying the bill of materials. The minimum bending radius depends on the cable diameter – for cables with a diameter up to 8 mm it is 4x the cable diameter, above 8 mm – respectively 5x or 6x the cable diameter.
