Single-core PVC wire acc. to UL/CSA FIVENORM H05V2-K 0.75/AWG20 white 64096
Universal cable for a wide range of applications
This single-core PVC cable, designated as H05V2-K 0.75/AWG20, is a versatile solution for internal wiring. It will work well in both electrical installations and device connections. Its construction and approvals make it a product valued by installers and end-users. The cable is particularly popular in export applications and in machine tools.
Construction and approvals – a guarantee of reliability
The cable is made of a multi-strand copper conductor class 5, providing flexibility and good conductivity. The TI3 type PVC insulation guarantees mechanical strength and resistance to external factors. Importantly, this cable meets as many as five standards: DIN VDE 0285-525-2-31, DIN EN 50525-2-31, UL-Std.1063, UL-Style 10269 (also Style 1015) and CSA-TEW and CSA-AWM I A/B. It has HAR, UL-AWM, UL-MTW, CSA-AWM and CSA-Equipment-wire approvals, which simplifies the bill of materials and reduces storage costs. Thanks to this, you can be sure of its safety and compliance with the requirements of various markets.
Technical parameters and operating range
The cable is characterized by a cross-section of 0.75 mm² and an approximate outer diameter of 2.85 mm. The rated voltage U0 is 600 V, and U – 500 V. The operating temperature range is wide – flexibly from +5°C to +90°C and stationary from -40°C to +90°C (UL AWM up to +105°C). The minimum bending radius depends on the cable diameter – for cables with a diameter below 8 mm it is 4x the cable diameter, above 8 mm – 5x or 6x the cable diameter, respectively. The test voltage for cross-sections ≥ 0.75 mm² is 6 kV. The conductor is made of un-tinned copper, which affects its conductivity and connection durability.
