Universal connection cable – compliant with five standards

This white, single-core PVC H05V2-K 1/AWG18 cable is a versatile solution for internal wiring. Its uniqueness lies in its compliance with as many as five standards – DIN VDE, DIN EN, UL, CSA-TEW and CSA-AWM – making it an ideal choice for installers working in both domestic and export markets. The cable is used in machine tools, distribution boards and electrical devices.

Flexibility and scope of application

The cable is designed for a wide range of operating temperatures. In flexible mode, it can be used from +5°C to +90°C, and in stationary mode from -40°C to +90°C. It also meets the requirements of UL (AWM) and CSA (TEW) standards in a wider temperature range. The operating voltage is 300/500V, and the test voltage reaches 2000V (and even 6kV for cross-sections ≥ 0.75 mm²). This ensures safe and reliable operation in various conditions.

Construction and materials

The cable is characterized by a solid construction: a multi-strand copper conductor class 5 (DIN VDE 0295/IEC 60228/UL Std. 758) is insulated with special PVC type TI3 (DIN VDE 0207-363-3/DIN EN 50363-3 and UL-Std. 1581). The materials used in production are free of silicone, cadmium and substances that hinder painting. Additionally, the cable has passed flame propagation tests according to DIN VDE, DIN EN, IEC and UL VW-1 and CSA FT1 standards. The minimum bending radius depends on the cable diameter and ranges from 4x to 6x the cable diameter.
