Single core PVC wire according to UL/CSA UL Style 1015 1xAWG14 yellow-green 60613
Single-core wire with PVC insulation, designed for a wide range of applications inside devices and electrical installations. The product meets stringent UL AWM Style 1015/MTW and CSA-AWM/TEW standards, guaranteeing its high quality and reliability. Excellent flexibility combined with resistance to external factors makes it an ideal choice for both professional installers and end-users.
Construction and properties
The wire is characterized by a copper core, available in various AWG sizes, covered with a tin layer to increase corrosion resistance. The insulation is made of high-quality PVC, providing excellent dielectric properties and mechanical strength. The insulation material is resistant to oils, solvents, acids and alkalis – increasing the safety and durability of the installation. Additionally, the materials used are silicone-free, cadmium-free and do not contain substances that interfere with painting. The wire is self-extinguishing and flame-retardant, as confirmed by UL VW-1 and CSA FT1 tests.
Applications and parameters
The wire is used for internal wiring of control cabinets, electrical devices (e.g., household appliances), radio and television receivers. It will also work as a connecting wire in machines and as a connecting wire to motors and transformers. The possibility of laying in insulated pipes (also flexible) further expands its range of applications.
The rated voltage is 600 V, and the operating temperature in flexible mode is in the range of -5°C to +105°C, while in stationary mode from -30°C to +105°C. The maximum conductor temperature, according to UL and CSA standards, is +105°C. The nominal cross-section of the core for AWG 14 is 2.08 mm², and the approximate outer diameter is 3.7 mm. The minimum bending radius for single bending is 5 x the outer diameter of the cable, and for multiple bending – 10 x the outer diameter of the cable.
Standards and certificates
The wire meets the requirements of UL (Underwriters Laboratories Inc.) and CSA (Canadian Standards Association) standards, confirming its safety and compliance with international quality standards. It has AWM (Appliance Wiring Material), MTW (Machine Tool Wires) and TEW (Equipment/Lead Wires) certificates, guaranteeing its suitability in various industrial and domestic applications. The use of high-quality materials and adherence to strict production procedures ensures long-lasting and trouble-free operation of the wire in demanding operating conditions.
