Single-core PVC wire for universal applications

This single-core PVC wire, manufactured in accordance with UL Style 1015 and CSA standards, is a versatile solution for internal wiring. It is suitable for both control cabinets and electrical devices, offering reliability and safety. The wire is particularly recommended for connections inside household appliances, audio-video equipment, as well as machines and transformers.

Construction and properties

The wire is characterized by a copper core, which may be tinned or untinned, affecting its flexibility and corrosion resistance. The high-quality PVC insulation provides excellent dielectric properties and resistance to external factors. This makes the wire resistant to oils, solvents, acids, alkalis, and lye – increasing its durability in harsh working conditions. Additionally, the materials used in production are cadmium-free and silicone-free, guaranteeing no negative impact on painting processes.

The wire has been tested for flame retardancy (UL VW-1, CSA FT1), ensuring a high level of safety. It can operate at temperatures from -5°C to +105°C (flexible) and from -30°C to +105°C (stationary), with a maximum conductor temperature of +105°C according to UL and CSA standards. The minimum bending radius is 5x the outer diameter for single bending and 10x the outer diameter for multiple bending.
