Single-core PVC wire – reliability and safety in every circuit

This blue single-core wire, made of polyvinyl chloride (PVC), is a universal solution for internal wiring. It meets stringent UL/CSA Style 1015 standards, guaranteeing its high quality and reliability in various applications. The conductor cross-section of 0.52 mm² (AWG 20) makes it ideal for devices with moderate power consumption, and the rated voltage of 600V ensures safe operation in demanding conditions.

This wire is widely used both in control cabinets and inside electrical devices – from household appliances to radio and television receivers. It will also work as a connecting wire in machines, especially when laid in insulated pipes (including flexible ones), as well as a connection wire for motors and transformers. Its flexibility makes it easy to install even in tight spaces.

Construction features and properties

The wire is characterized by a copper conductor, which may be tinned or untinned, affecting its corrosion resistance. PVC insulation class 43 provides excellent dielectric properties and moisture resistance. Additionally, the self-extinguishing material meeting UL VW-1 and CSA FT1 standards increases the safety of use – in the event of a fire, it limits the spread of flames. The wire is resistant to oils, solvents, acids and alkalis, which increases its durability and range of applications.

The use of high-quality PVC also ensures temperature resistance – the wire retains its properties in the range of -30°C to +105°C during stationary operation and from -5°C to +105°C during flexible operation. The minimum bending radius is 5x the cable diameter for single bending and 10x the cable diameter for multiple bending, which facilitates installation and minimizes the risk of conductor damage.
