Single-core PVC wire – reliability and versatility in every application

This single-core PVC wire, approved by UL AWM Style 1015/MTW and CSA-AWM/TEW, guarantees safety and performance in a wide range of applications. Construction and properties – the key to long-term operation

The conductor core is made of copper, ensuring excellent electrical conductivity. The polyvinyl chloride (PVC) insulation guarantees high resistance to abrasion, moisture and the action of many chemicals, such as oils, solvents, acids and alkalis. In addition, the materials used in production are silicone and cadmium-free, which translates to safe use and no impact on painting processes.

The wire is characterized by high flexibility in the temperature range of -5°C to +105°C (flexible) and from -30°C to +105°C (stationary). The maximum conductor temperature is +105°C according to UL and CSA standards. The operating voltage is 600V, and the breakdown voltage depends on the AWG cross-section – for AWG 24 it is 4kV, for AWG 22 and 20 – 5kV, and for AWG 18 to 10 – 6kV and for AWG 8 – 7.5kV. It meets the requirements of UL VW-1 and CSA FT1 standards regarding self-extinguishing and flame retardancy.

The minimum bending radius is 5x the outer diameter of the cable for single bending and 10x the outer diameter for multiple bending. The conductor cross-section is 0.52 mm² for AWG 20 and the outer diameter is approximately 2.7 mm.
