Specialized application single-core wires

This grey single-core PVC wire, with a cross-section of 0.33 mm² (AWG 22), is designed for demanding electrical applications. This wire is particularly recommended for internal wiring of control cabinets and electrical devices – including household appliances and audio-video equipment. It is perfect as a connecting wire in machines and equipment, especially when laid in insulated pipes (also flexible). It can also be used as a connection wire for motors and transformers. Construction and properties

Polyvinyl chloride (PVC) insulation provides not only good electrical insulation but also resistance to oils, solvents, acids, alkalis and lye. A special PVC formulation makes it self-extinguishing and flame-retardant – which is crucial for the safety of installations. The wire maintains flexibility in the temperature range of -5°C to +105°C, and can operate in stationary mode from -30°C to +105°C. The copper core, available in AWG sizes, is manufactured in accordance with UL-Std. 758. The materials used in production are free of silicone, cadmium and substances that interfere with painting.

Application and compliance with standards

This wire is used in both industrial installations (e.g. inside machines) and household appliances and consumer electronics. Its versatility results from a wide range of rated voltages (600 V) and UL and CSA approvals. It meets the requirements of the Low Voltage Directive 2014/35/EU, confirming its safety of use within the European Union. The minimum bending radius is 5x the cable diameter for single bending and 10x the cable diameter for multiple bending – making installation easier even in tight spaces.
