Single-core grounding cable PVC ESUY 1x35 mm² transparent 28932
Earthing cable – safety and flexibility in every application
This single-core earthing cable ESUY is a reliable solution for ensuring safe grounding in various applications. Made of copper, it is characterized by exceptional flexibility thanks to the construction with a multi-strand class 6 core. This cable is used both for grounding mobile devices and for securing current paths during inspections of medium-voltage distribution devices. Its transparent PVC insulation allows for easy identification and control of the cable's condition.
Construction and properties
The ESUY cable meets the requirements of DIN VDE 0283 part 3 and EN 61138, which guarantees its high quality and safety. It is made of a twisted copper core, surrounded by a screen of copper strands, which ensures effective removal of interference currents. The outer jacket made of PVC (component TM2 according to DIN VDE 0207-363-4-1 / DIN EN 50363-4-1) protects the cable against mechanical damage and external factors. The cable's flexibility is maintained over a wide temperature range – from -5°C to +70°C.
- Durability and flexibility: The multi-strand class 6 core provides high flexibility, making installation and adaptation to various installation configurations easier.
- Safety: Compliance with DIN VDE 0283 part 3 and EN 61138 guarantees a high level of safety.
- Interference protection: The screen of copper strands minimizes the impact of electromagnetic interference on the operation of devices.
- Resistance to external conditions: The PVC jacket protects against moisture, chemicals and mechanical damage.
- Easy identification: Transparent insulation allows for quick visual inspection of the cable's condition.
Applications and technical parameters
The ESUY 1x35 mm² cable is perfect for situations requiring reliable grounding, especially during maintenance and inspection work on energized equipment. Its cross-section of 35 mm² and outer diameter of approximately 11.8 mm ensure adequate current capacity and minimize voltage drop. The cable is designed to operate at a maximum conductor temperature of +70°C (flexible) and +70°C (stationary). The insulation resistance is at least 20 MOhm x km, and the test voltage is 2000V. The minimum bending radius of the cable is 12 x its outer diameter, ensuring comfortable installation even in tight spaces.
