Construction and properties

The key to the exceptional flexibility of the HELUSOUND 400 cable is the use of a fine-stranded copper conductor (single wire diameter 0.15 mm) and a soft PVC outer jacket. This makes the cable easy to lay and adapt to complex routes, minimizing the risk of damage. The conductors made of unplated copper provide excellent conductivity, and the PVC insulation protects against short circuits and interference. The cable is UV resistant, which increases its durability even in outdoor conditions.

The minimum bending radius is 8x the cable diameter for flexible applications and 5x the diameter for stationary installations, making it easy to install even in tight spaces. The operating temperature range of -10°C to +70°C (flexible) and -30°C to +70°C (stationary) allows it to be used in various environmental conditions. The operating voltage is 300V, and the test voltage is 1000V – confirming its safety of use.

Conductor identification is simple: in the two-wire version, the conductors are marked with red and black colors. Four and eight-wire versions with appropriate color coding are also available, making it easier to connect the speakers correctly.
