Flexible spiral cable PUR-SPIKA – reliability in motion

This orange PUR-SPIKA spiral cable with a cross-section of 3x0.75 mm² is the ideal solution wherever high flexibility and resistance to mechanical damage are required. This cable is designed for dynamic applications where traditional cabling could fail. Its construction allows it to be stretched to 1200 mm from an initial length of 300 mm, making it easy to adapt to specific needs.

Construction and properties

The cable is characterized by a solid construction. Made of stranded copper conductors, meeting the standards DIN VDE 0295, BS 6360 and IEC 60228, it provides good conductivity and mechanical strength. The core insulation made of rubber guarantees safe use, and the outer polyurethane (PUR) jacket protects against external factors. A yellow-green protective conductor (available from 3 cores) further increases the level of safety.

This cable is designed to operate in a wide temperature range – from -25°C to +70°C – making it a universal solution for many applications. The rated voltage U/U0 is 500/300 V, and the test voltage is 2000/2500 V. An elongation ratio of 1:4 and simple ends with a length of 200 mm facilitate installation and connection.
