Universal spiral cable for applications requiring flexibility

This black PUR-SPIKA cable with a cross-section of 2x0.25 mm² and a length of 500 mm is a robust solution for a wide range of applications where reliability and resistance to mechanical stress are important. Made of copper, with TPE-E insulation and an outer jacket of PUR, it provides good flexibility and durability. The cable is particularly useful in situations where the cable is exposed to frequent bending and movement.

Construction and properties

The cable is characterized by a construction that ensures high-quality electrical connections. Copper cores, meeting the standards DIN VDE 0295, BS 6360 and IEC 60228, guarantee good conductivity. TPE-E insulation provides resistance to abrasion and mechanical damage, and the PUR outer jacket protects against external factors. Twisted strands increase the cable's flexibility. The cable has a nominal voltage of 500V (for a cross-section of 0.25 mm²) and has been tested at 1000V. An elongation ratio of 1:4 means that the cable can be stretched to four times its length without losing its properties. Importantly, there is a straight section of 200 mm at each end – this facilitates connection to devices.
