Flexible spiral cable PUR-SPIKA – reliability in motion

This orange PUR-SPIKA spiral cable with a cross-section of 5x0.75 mm² is the ideal solution wherever high flexibility and resistance to mechanical damage are required. Its construction based on a polyurethane (PUR) outer jacket and copper cores ensures long-lasting and trouble-free operation in various applications. This cable is characterized by the ability to stretch up to 4 meters with an initial spiral length of 1000 mm, which makes it easy to adapt to specific needs.

Construction and properties

The PUR-SPIKA cable has been designed with demanding working conditions in mind. It uses high-quality copper cores that meet the standards of DIN VDE 0295, BS 6360 and IEC 60228. The core insulation made of rubber provides good electrical protection, and the color coding of the wires facilitates assembly and servicing. A yellow-green protective conductor (available from the 3-core version) further increases safety. The PUR outer jacket guarantees resistance to abrasion, oils and other chemicals, making it reliable in harsh industrial environments. The cable is designed to operate in a temperature range from -25°C to +70°C and withstands a test voltage of 2000/2500 V.
