The DHW heat pump heater PCWU 200eK with a power output of 2.5 kW is a modern air/water unit that serves as a standalone or supplementary solution for preparing domestic hot water in residential and office buildings.

Construction and technical parameters

The unit is equipped with an integrated enamelled steel tank with a capacity of 200 litres, made of thick-walled steel (up to 3 mm) coated with a protective enamel layer providing effective protection against domestic water corrosion. Additional protection is ensured by a magnesium anode, which protects the tank surface even when the heat pump power supply is switched off.

The 230 V power supply and auxiliary heating coil with a heat transfer surface of 1 m² enable efficient operation of the unit both independently and in cooperation with a heating boiler or solar installation.

Functionality and control

The advanced G426 controller has an extended range of functions, allowing selection of the hydraulic circuit scheme for installations equipped with a gas or solid fuel boiler, optimizing domestic hot water heating costs.

The text display ensures comfortable use of the expanded range of settings and operational status readings, while the timer functions allow the heat pump and circulation pump operation to be adapted to the individual needs of residents.

The RS485 communication interface enables cooperation with remote internet-based monitoring using the EKONTROL system, providing full control over the unit.

Operating conditions and performance

The unit can operate economically for most of the year at external temperatures reaching -5°C, and independently covers the typical needs of 3-4 persons in a residential building or a larger number of people in an office building.

The DN150 mm air nozzles allow independent intake of outdoor air and discharge of cooled air outside or to another room for seasonal cooling in summer.
